It will fully seat on the scanner, and has an o-ring to maintain the weather resistance of the scanner. The REM-800B is the same antenna, but with a BNC mount. The headphone jack on the sds100 has the lowest output of any scanner I have ever had. I have had lots of scanners in my time. The old scanners worked fine with a amplified speaker plugged in the headphone jack. The jack the on the sds100 is dummied down so low a amplified speaker don't help much.These are listed here as well. Since the introduction of the BC250D scanner Uniden has used a standardized 12-digit serial number protocol as follows: 383Z88123456. Explained in my note to them have worked with radios since the 1980's. I know how to program and operate radios. I spent about 5 hours with my buddy Dodge Rice (DodgeTheMachinist) learning how to place the inset SDS100, or whatever inlaid text on the sides. I used the website www.tinkercad.com to edit the original .stl file. It was a fun learning process. Dodge is a great machinist as well as a 3d print designer.W2GLD. I ran the SDS100 alongside the IC R30 for three hours yesterday in my office. The IC-R30 far outperformed the SDS100 and rarely stopped, opened squelch without good clear voice traffic. The G5 battery will last MUCH longer, and it’s lower capacity than the SDS100 with big battery. Both fully charged and locked onto one TG, the G5 lasted 20.5 hours, while the SDS lasted 8 hours. G5 screen timeout set to 45 seconds and SDS100 set to 10 seconds. This TG is always quiet and little traffic.fxdscon. However, I will offer this... with the SDS100 there is/was a heat concern (the heat is still present but the concern may have diminished). The radio will heat up when on. Just received by SDS-100 was not receiving anything and was returned to Uniden. Received the unit back today and still no radio traffic. Repair that was performed was cold solder joint. Explained in my note to them have worked with radios since the 1980's. I know how to program and operate radios. Jul 9, 2022 · The message says that my SDS100 is up to date. It has firmware 1.10.00 and sub version 1.02.01. The Sentinel update to 2.03 went fine and now has the new tuning steps for custom searches, but I don't have any need for them.
